Japanese Tsunami relief fund

A massive 8.9/9.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean nearby Northeastern Japan at around 2:46pm on March 11 (JST) causing damage with blackouts, fire and tsunami.

This unprecedented natural disaster that’s hit Japan has left total devastation with many thousands killed and reports now stating nearly 88,000 people are reported missing, according to the official Kyodo news agency.

I wish to reach out to everyone here on Facebook and beyond to help me coordinate this relief fund, I would like all the bands and groups that I both work with and am in contact with to pull together and put aside a percentage of the takings at your next concert.

I will be talking tomorrow to a major Japanese manufacturer here in Canada to set up a bank account where donations can be sent and will oversee that every penny received goes to the effected people and children of Japan to help in the recovery.

Schools / temporary hospitals and shelter are needed, medical supplies, food and fresh water are all needed, I need everyone to help, even a couple of dollars you can spare will help, no matter how small the donation it will all go to help.

We can all help at the moment these people need all the help they can get, and remember they are now under threat of a possibly nuclear melt down and explosion.
